My daughter once raised a chicken in our backyard. Rudy is a Rhoade Island Red and lived in our backyard for a year before she moved out to a farm with other chickens. She laid over 200 eggs while we had her!

Have you seen Rudy lately or is this an old picture? I have one Buff hen and one Dominicker and a Red Rhode island Rooster along with my three white ducks. I hope we don't get bird flu!! Patti
This was a picture of Rudy when she lived with us. We haven't seen her in about 2 years. She joined a flock of Rhoade Island Reds including a rooster so has probably learned to fit in with them instead of thinking she was a human. When she joined the flock she had never seen another chicken before since the day she was hatched. Culture shock!
