Philadelphia and New York City
Our family is leaving beautiful, but hot Florida for a week and heading to the big city of Philadelphia and New York City. My kids have never been to either city. I was in Philly about 40 years ago and my husband was in NYC about 35 years ago. We have been studying all the things we want to see and do. It will be so different from our medium size town in Florida. Please be praying for our safety and for good weather too. This picture was taken a few years ago when we took a trip to New England and flew right over Manahattan. Next week we will get a little closer look at the Big Apple!

Advice: If you're going to use public transportation to get around, you can buy a one day card for $4/person or so (not sure what the exact price is now). You also might want to see if they have a group/family ticket for you guys.
The Staten Island ferry is free and is well worth it for the views of both the Statue of Liberty and the skyline of NYC.
