We are having a great time in Sedona Arizona and at the Grand Canyon. I will share all about it when I get home soon. Computers here are acting up and I can't upload pictures. I have some really amazing ones to share. Can't wait to tell you all about it.

Faith is home!

Faith got home from her 7 week hike on the Appalachian Trail yesterday. She had a great time, stayed safe, met a lot of great people who were all so kind and helpful to her. She took so many beautiful scenic pictures.

I will be sharing a few more pictures from her trip on the blog so keep checking back.

Since it is summer and people in my family are traveling I will be sharing pictures other than Florida.

Great Smoky Mountains

Faith hiked all the way through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is the tower at the top of Clingman's Dome. The state line of North Carolina and Tennessee goes down the middle of the park.

Appalachian Trail

This summer Faith is hiking on the Appalachian Trail. She started at Springer Mountain in north Georgia and has hiked over 500 miles so far to Virginia. Here are a few photos she took and sent home.














The shelter here is just one of the many different types of shelters found along the trail for hikers to spend the night in.
