Thanksgiving Salad

My sister in law makes this really good salad every Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is pretty sweet and is more like a dessert. At Christmas it comes in green. Yum!

My Neighbor

World War 2 Memorial and Lincoln Memorial

Here is a view taken from the top of the Washington Monument. In the foreground you can see the newer World War 2 Memorial and in the background you can see the Lincoln Memorial.

Jefferson Memorial

In October we visited Wash. DC. Here is the Jefferson Memorial. The airport is close so you see planes taking off all day long as you tour the monuments. It makes an interesting picture.
