James passed the testing for 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do this week. His teacher, Mr. Ellis, says he has really improved.

Cooler in woods is "Trail Magic". Local people leave good things in the woods for all the hikers that come through their towns and area. In the cooler there is probably fresh fruit, orange juice, or water with ice. All things you can't take on the trail because of the weight.

Faith (with orange pack) is hiking on the Appalachian Trail again this summer. Her friend, Kristi, joined her and they are hiking through Virginia.

This is the flute choir I play in. I love this song from the Ken Burns "Civil War" series. The real name for the piece is "Ashokan Farewell." There are 30 flute players in this group.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and to anyone who had a mother. I guess that is about everyone. Here is a picture from our past. We had gone to a bowling party. The kids were 7, 5, and 2. So cute!
