Boy Scouts on Parade

This is from this year's Scout Show. At the end of the day all the boys parade around the area carrying their American flags and troop flags. It is always an impressive sight.

More raccoon

Here is another picture of the raccoon who likes grapefruit.

We don't see many raccoons anymore in our neighborhood, but this little guy or girl was enjoying our neighbor's grapefruit this week. It was funny to watch. He bit a hole in the top of a grapefruit on the ground large enough to stick a hand in. Then he stuck his hand in the hole to get the fruit out. After eating enough grapefruit he climbed up the tree and stayed there for hours. We checked a few times to see if he was still there, but he waited until long after dark to climb down and go home. We were surprised to see a racoon out in the daytime.

Look carefully and you will see someone at his home. This toad has made a home in my flower pot. He has been there for a few weeks at night. The plant has now died and the pot needs to be replanted, but I hate to mess up his little home. LOL

Shhh! We're tired!

It had been a long day for our animals. Sunny was sleeping, Sandy was sleeping, and if you look carefully Shadow is sleeping in the background. It is very tiring to be a pet at our house! LOL

Pink weeds

If you read my blog you know I like flowers. These are a weed that came up in my lawn. I think they are a type of moss rose, but I am not sure. They were a surprise to see a patch of pink growing in the grass.

Newer Car

13 years ago we had 3 little kids all 5 years old and under. We bought a mini van. That mini van has gone a lot of miles since then, but now my oldest little kid works full time and the others are in high school. The mini van is wearing out too. Yesterday I was driving in my own neighborhood and saw this real pretty car for sale for a good price. It is a 2002 Saturn with only 25,000 miles. It REALLY was owned by the little old lady who only drove it to church on Sundays. Unfortunately she had to sell it because of her health. Anyway, it is now mine.

Here is another picture of the Skyway Bridge over Tampa Bay. I really enjoy going over this bridge. I usually take a picture of it. From this angle is looks like the road goes up to the sky.
